I'm heading to Thailand for two weeks in April 07 and I'm wondering if it's worth taking my gear with me. Has anyone kited there and what time of year? I've heard Hua Hin is ok.
Any info from personal experiences would be great.

absolutely love thailand. havent kited there personally but i was jus there a wk ago. good weather, great ppl..i dont think u can go wrong. Hoi Hin should b good, maybe phuket better... check it out. happy kiting
Hi there, I have been to Kho Pa Nhang in january 2005 and took my first lessons there. I believe it is a good spot, but we also had days without wind. There is an IKO kiteschool there (don't know the name), check with them about the wind during your vacation.
Island is very nice with nice beaches and good places to go. I would not recommend Kho Samui, terrible with tons of even more terrible tourists!
