Hi all,

Would like to know if anyone has ever been kiting in Wagga. I moved here in August and have been eyeing off Lake Albert. Yesterday there was approx. 20knt wind in Wagga that didn't have a storm front behind it. So I did it. I Kited on a lake in the middle of NSW. Has anyone done this before out of pure desperation?

I actually eyed off that lake when i was down that way for my brothers army parade last year. It was cranking at 20knots and i was itching for a kite. How was it out of curiosity?

You might be the first .I lived there before kiting and poleboarded and sailed there.biggest danger is don't swallow the water

Hey dude,

I too have eyed off the lake. I was there all last year before I got into kiting.

When I was in town the water level was quite low. Most people had started to get worried about taking thier boats outs. You could touch the bottom in most areas. Though it was silty and sticky.

Let me know how you go. I'm heading over in Dec for a mates wedding and have been thinking of packing the kite... Let me know if its worth it. "biggest danger is don't swallow the water " Sorry Mr Float, havnt figured out the quoting yet

Maybe drop by the boat/sailing club and see what the go is, just to make sure you tread on too many toes first...
