Im going on a trip to the Abrohlos soon and will need to launch my kite in very strong winds (30knots and over) from a about a 60ft boat.
Has anyone successfully launched from a boat, and how do you do it?

Hi Cooky there are ways to launch from a boat.
It involves a bucket, pre rigging on land, swimming out with the bar and having someone who knows kites on the boat.
Ask your local instructor. They should have done it before. With practice and careful attention it can be done with just the kite bag.
