Went surfing at wedge Sunday morning while awaiting the wind to kick in.
Slept under the stars so woke up at sunrise and headed straight for a surf with a couple of mates.

Empty beach so we drove around and picked a random pick along the 10 km stretch of empty beach.

30 mn later, another 4x4 rocks up and a crew of 5 padles out straight on the inside on the same break????

The waves are pretty much identical over the entire beach so am i the only one who finds it strange when people paddle out on the same pick?

To be honest, I wasn't overly bothered as it cuts the odds with the sharks an i ended up lettig myself drift donwind and catch (or at least attempt to) identical waves on my own.

Not sure whether the waves are the same for 10km. Maybe for 1.5-2km max.

But I do hear you, have experienced that too (albeit over 1.5-2k, not 10k)/

Yeah I dont get it with some people they want to form a crowd at any cost.
Went camping in the Kimberly with no one around, a group of guys set up camp right next to me, I tell them to FO which they did, but got a knife blade in the tyre as a farewell presy

Was camping in the remote bush of Barrington tops and was in an out of the way camping spot when this knob shows up with his family of feral kids. Now the site was quite big but the knob chooses the spot right next to mine. So I fire up the generator and run it into the early hours, even though I had a battery, I used it for the 50 watts my laptop uses. Not only that but the spot he chose was also the access so I had to drive nice and close to them to get out when I wanted. Yep People are Phucked!
