PR and jan are right, the long range forecast is usually about 80% wrong and you have to look at the gero forecast not Metro.

It should be good. Even without wind we may have swell for surfing, if not, I'm takin' the Tinnie for Fishin' Just can't lose

See you all at Kitestock

Hello Kitestockers!

I don't have the list of names on me but I can tell you registrations hit the sold-out maximum of 200 people!

So who's going? Well 200 kiters, that's who :)

I've no doubt the wind will come to the party, yet in case there is a bit of wind-waiting we have:

- more than enough food and drinks
- shade
- music
- a cricket set
- a footy
- and hopefully a volleyball net

to keep everyone entertained. Of course your own surfboards (and body boards if you're ultra cool!) will get you in the water regardless.

Both Friday and Saturday evenings are all set to go with yummy roast dinner on Friday and gourmet BBQ on Saturday. Both venues have good bars where I reckon you might be able to grab a beer or two :)

All up, the weekend has so much going on we'll be lucky to squeeze any kiting in at all!

If you want a different forecast for the weekend just wait 6 hours .
In the last few days everytime I look it has changed .

The swell looks like it will be there though .

Worst case could be we go for a surf instead ,however it is looking very likely to be an epic weekend with enough wind and a few waves for those who want them .

c u there
