Hey All,

My mate has one of these kites in a 12m, it flies fine when sheeted out, however, when sheeted in the front lines flare open heaps and the kite falls back into the window.

Any ideas on how to rig this thing to alleviate the issue, there are multiple attachment points on the wing tips, I figure playing with these may change the way it flies, also, could it be something to do with the line lengths?

In the few minutes I had today to check the bar (that I believe is standard) it looks like the front lines can be shortened at the bar end.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hey rickyM,

You are on the right track, just shorten the front lines at the bar end, you have to much tension on the back lines.

If you need any help please let me know.

The spectrums hated back line pressure, back lines need to be slack as anything.
that will aleviate the problem dramatically. Fiddle then fly.

If that dont work call Jason, Full tilt, Rockingham www.fulltilt.com he's the LF dealer in perth, and will advise accordingly i'm sure.
