I’ve broached the subject of bans, self-regulation etc on at least 5-6 different occasions and for the most part, was shut down. So I put it simply to you now.
Kiters are arrogant
Kiters are obnoxious
Kiters do not have any respect for other people
Kiters are middle-aged wannabe extreme sport enthusiasts – try-hards
Kiters are young men trying to fit into the ‘cool category’ – try-hards
Kiters are all a bunch of retards.
Kiters are selfish.
Kiters are show-offs – “look at me, look at me! I can do a jump that someone can do after 2 weeks of kiting! Look at me!!”
Kiters will be banned…but of course, you’re all too cool to care aren’t you??
Sound like you? Probably not. But there are far too many people (even if it is a minority) that are responsible for this façade. No wonder windsurfers judge us by what we are rather than who we are. No wonder there are now countless subjects on this broaching bans and regulation. No wonder the guys that have been around for more than a couple of years are getting pissed.
The issue is, there's a 95% chance that you won't agree with me because 95% of people on here have only kited for less than 2 years.
I’m embarrassed to even be associated with kiting. And yes, I do appreciate the irony of my user name.

you could probably put all of this into another sport as well..... surfers are arrogant......surfers are obnoxious.......surfers dont have respect for other people...etc.
but yes kiters are probably the worst because they are not only endangering themselves but also other people...
