I was one of the last to leave after the wind dropped right off. I was out in my boat looking for a brand new 06 1.28FLX that had been lost, never found it, sure a boaty/fisherman picked it up.
Owner is sorely pissed, less than 4 hrs old and gone.

Also found a 14M Slingshot TD and bar and lines!!!

Describe the kite and its yours. Ph 02 95296894

If anyone finds that 1.28FLX please drop it in to the Kitepower shop.

Yeah I did, it stuck out like dogs balls sitting on the beach with no-one around. It was actually brand new, so maybe the owner forgot he had bought it, would have been a nice score for someone if I did not spot it!!

Anyway 48 hrs later I get a call and I told him we are having an auction for it and the latest bid is $10.80, he bid $12 and was there in an hour to take his baby home.

No sign of that board though, almost sure a passing boat got it, make sure you take rego numbers of boats seen stopping near where boards are lost.

Its still theft by finding!

Had been up all night with young children issues, just had a bad case of the vagues!!
Only parents know what that can do to your mind. I saw 2 of the kids in the shop when he came to get it, they were operating at 200 decibels with no sign of stopping.

lol Steve - sounds like a GREAT reson to take up kiting. Not sure it is worth buying a new kite for each session but it comes pretty close...

I should do that more with my kids I could get the kids to rig up my kite for me, launch and land me, and then while I am out they can entertain themselves on the beach...

PS - not implying the guy who lost his kite does this, but I sure as hell might start...
