Thank you to all who made there way up to mackay and those who have supported the 1st MKBA & ARSA KITE COMP over the weekend .70+ Riders converged on mackay with two clear things in mind KITING and PARTING and with a lack of wind we were pushed into a corner of PARTYING . With more free beer than we could all drink over two nights and RED BULL AND VODKA still sweating from our pores there was alot of S**t hot antics going on. To Cam P, Bill C,Funky and smiley you guys need to stop filling Johnny"2nd Helpings"Bourk's shoes with RB&V its not his cup!And thanks to The C World Wakeboarders and Wakewinches crew for the Stacks. Hope to see you all and more next year up here in Mackay

Paulio, we had enough wind to run the Jnr heats , Luke Bourke (Mackay) placed first , Harry Walters(Tannum Sands) 2nd and Luke Johnson(Townsvill) 3rd . We also held a down wind race with Blake Mackenze winning the Jnrs and Slingshot Dave winning the Mens, Glen Bright (masters)and Marine Sudre(Womans) , the wind dropped out before we could run anymore heats. Mark Jacobs(NZ) won the Mens Exp Session with Simon Wichterman claiming 2nd and Marine Sudre (Syd) claiming 1st and Jamie -Lee Smith(Rocky)2nd. Jnr's went to Myles Snowden(Syd) 1st and Torrin Bright(NZ) 2nd The Masters was won by Gavin Broadbent and Andy Regan claimed 2nd . 6 kiteboards went to lucky new homes as well as heaps of prizes from slingshot and other sponcers, Luke Bourke scored a sponcership deal from Cardboards as part of the first prize in the Jnr Divs .Encourgement awards to Sue Roach and Bill Winndus. And the best wipe out went to Nathanael Donnerly(Mky) . I hope i have spelt everyones names right and have not left anyone out .

hey thanks to jo and mel and all the mackay crew for a awersome weekend...was a well run event with plenty of great people there...
we all had a ball...looking forward to next year.. hey twigs we sold your board and traded it in for some ninja swords..

i learnt one thing..it doesn't matter how many red bulls you drink the night before ..it doesn't help the next day

specially with vodka mixed in

WHAT A PARTY !!

Hey josh I put all 500+ photo's on some disc's I'll bring one down the beach during the week for you when the wind comes up.

I'm going too post a disc up to Joe and Mel during the week, for the folks in Mackay.

Not 5 month's next bloody April[}:)]

There supposed to be some wind this Thurs or Fri

Adrenalin Rush Sports Australia organised one of the best contest I have attended.
Congrates to all the riders that made an effort and got out on the water in the light winds.
Even with the lack of wind everyone had plenty of entertainment with wakeboarding, wakewinching, DJ & lots more.
I hope this event continues for years to come.

Thanks Mel & Jo for this great even , shame for the wind but we can't predict !!! I had a good time in Mackay always nice to catch up with all the cool riders !!!

Well even if we didn't have a great comp i still got out on every single gust of wind i could. It seemmed a whole lot better then the rain n floods that were going on in sydney.
Lets not forget a Phil Roach who got arrested for urinating in the fountain on main street.
Kiters are such a respected bunch of people in mackay. Love the boys in blue!
