Hey Guys

I'm heading down to Mandurah on Thursday for work and the forecast looks good for a kite. Can anyone give me the heads up of a good spot to have a session.

Cheers

Nth side of cut on estuary if you want flat water (very low tides at moment), or there is always the ocean

The flat water is just to the north of the Dawesville cut on the Estuary behind the canals and marina. The beach at Port Bouvard is OK but gusty, Good waves sometime between Avalon and Falcon Beach

Closer to town is Halls Head beach, occasional angry pole boarders

Other wise the water ski area at Silversands beach is a little like pinnaroo

If the tide isn't super-low the estuary at Nairns can be pretty sick for some flat water action on a southerly/southeasterly, you can walk out for about a 1/4 mile too.
