Does anyone generally kite just behind the mouth of the maroochy on a westerly?
Does it get dead gusty or does it funnel nicely past the islands?

i've tried it twice now in a SW, both times it was monumentally sh!t. There won't be a third time.

In a NW it might be a bit better, less turbulence.
