Anyone have any suggestions for measuring the "accurate" height of jumps? Say for in a competition? GPS units do elevations but are never very accurate.

May I suggest placing solid objects of know or measurable height in the water and attempting to jump them. If you hit them and brake bones/die then you didn't make it, If you make it, you can claim the height of the object and not a cm more. I hear its cool to jump houses these days.
