I witnessed a rather horrific accident on Friday arvo at Melville beach. I was kiting on an 8m kite. Gusts were exceeding or atleast reaching 30 kts. A guy put up a 12m Naish and not too long afterwards was dragged accross rocks next to the road. Apparantly he ended up with one foot facing in the wrong direction and a nasty gash on the head. He was a very lucky man as things could have proved fatal.
I just think it is yet another reminder to look out for one another and say something if you see someone doing something fool-hardy and dangerous.
Cheers
Happy Kiting...

onshore winds at 25 knots.
If he can't see that comming he doesn't deserve to be out there.
