PAul Will email them to you when i get to work tonight, round 11.
I'm on nights today and have the kids etc to deal with all day long.....looooovvvvveeeeerrrrllllyyyyyyy

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to evreyone who turned up, especially Johnathon who gave us a good chat about Cott and some good ideas to go forward with. Also Paul for being a most diligent minute taker, and catalyst for discussion

I think although we didnt cover a lot of the agenda, i think it was a good start and to see 20 or so people turn up was great. I hope that we can maintain the energy and all get back together in a month with other things we need to do or change.

Paul might be an idea to post the minutes on the WAKSA forum, as it doesnt get "turned over" so much there

NB guys :
Head count in the carpark was 28 inc our 2 guests?. I also had genuine apologies from 10 people unavoidably absent.
I reckon thats a fantastic turnout.
Thanks to all for coming & to Mike & Paul for officiating etc.
I think our pre-emptive move here is going to be a critical issue for the future of kiting in Melville AND a real bonus for kitesurfing everywhere.
A great result as a first up initiative (IMHO)

Great work guys. Definitely do your best to keep the momentum going because none of the possible alternatives are good ones.

Great to see initiative and energy with this sort of thing, and once the Nationals are over, it will be one of the main focuses of WAKSA to get local area groups formed and assist as much as possible with the liason with councils, signage, publishing info on the website etc.

It's up to us as a group to make sure we have access to our local beaches, ensure the safety of kiters and the public, and also keep the friendly feeling amongst kiters that has been lost in other sports.

Keep up the great work!!!!

Cheers
Deano

Hi all,

Paul has kindly posted the minutes from the meeting on the WAKSA part of the forum
Thanks Paul.

We collected a number of contact details from all the guys that were there last night, but in the end only had about 16.
We want the details to keep evreyone informed about what is going on, rather than using the forums for day to day and social stuff.

I'm going to start planning a weekend away for us kiters, probably towards the end of FEB. And when we have all chatted on the beach, think we need to start organising the next meeting, need to keep it more of a social thing to.
Love organising.....

If i havent got your email, or phone number and name please email me at werk...

Thanks
Mike
