Absolutely - went way over 25 kts soon after every kite out headed for the safety of the beach within 5 minutes of each other. Skilled kiters on 10's teabagging in even before the strongest wind of the day hit. Definately way above recorded 22kts.

yeah there was about an hour or so guessing 3.30ish onwards where it definitely cranked up... most of the guys out at peli headed in around then

although two teacher/students were still out, one of the school guys i think

i plain don't understand taking out students in those sort of winds though.... i mean one was a 5m inflato, but i reckon i woulda been lit up enough on an 8 :/

and the lessons and learners hanging out right in the launching area where it is gusty and sh1tty (and where there is a prime bit of flat water)

Think that is bad,

today an instructor came down while we were skim boarding and started teaching in dead off shore conditions, gusty as hell.

do these guys even need a license?
