Well it's the right time in the season (for once ).

where in the midwest you thinking Cauncy?

Consider having downwinder logistics sorted as that seems the go for most and there are some rippers up there.

Be a good one stop exposure for all the brands new gear before the season kicks off down here in full flight.

Anyhow ...

Did I tell you I'm down in Perth now Cauncy?

There was always chatter about a Dongara to Gero downwinder. I could be up for an excuse to come back for a weekend.

Shops and brands participation imho are a great addition
ive contacted a couple of shops prior and November got the thumbs up
I'll be contacting brands and shops shortly with details
downwinders will be high on the agenda with sundowner beers, food and tunes, hoping for a bus service from coronation beach

Myself , dave whettingsteel and rob Smallwood had meetings,
They were all for it, very good funding too
However they were wanting it in April , I won't embarrass myself or the region holding it then
Were going alone with it at this stage, we just want a good fun event, nothing over regulated, good winds and good vibes,
cheers

Haha, don't think that will go well!

The event will be centered around Geraldton, in part because its well serviced with accommodation options. Aim is to be low cost and people to look after-selves outside of events.

I'm sure you can find yourself something suitable. Suggest:

That would be awesome to have Dimitri doing his air magic entertaining all the beach goers and making us look like weve just finished kite lessons haaa

He will definitely have to compete in the big event - K.O.A politics said he was too old to go big !
Dingos arzz - time to make things fair dingkum ! or we'll be watching too haaa

Perhaps see if Ruben might be available hes another Legend..

Dimitri would definitely make me want to attend. The guy is kiteboarding personified, would love to hear the full story of why they don't let him in KOA.

That and just a well organised event.. ie good downwinder arrangements, good accommodation options (could arrange deal with private land owner for large group of campers/caravans??) Some gear to demo would obviously be attractive too.

I'll be chatting to accomadation options and try to get them onboard for an event discount to anyone attending,
cheers
dimitri would be a great addition, I've already contacted him and fingers crossed his commitments will allow him to attend amongst others
