Hi

I would like to get some opinions about MonkeyKites?
I'm thinking about buing one -and i would like to know if its good idea.

The only ones I have ever seen have been on St Kilda Beach where the school was selling them.

They are a little uncoventional in that they dont have a centre inflatable strut...but not having flown one I wouldnt know if that is good bad or otherwise.

I tried a demo one some time ago and it was very unstable - even when pumped hard, finish was average and a pig tail pulled straight out!
Hope they have improved since then. I'm not sure on the latest models.

Hi laser.
I'm waiting for my 12 HiAR 2005 monkey. Should get him next week. I'll let you know what I think. (Have never seen or flown a monkey before, but have heard just good things about them)

I have a 2005 10m h/a and it is awesome. Extremely stable and easy to ride.

As for the quality, it is excellent. I'm new and have bashed this thing into the sand so many times, but she still looks and flies like new.


IMO for the price, you really can't go past them...
