Hi I´m moving to Perth in Juli. And I´m looking for an apartment. So please help me with suggestions about city areas there I will have walking distans to some nice kitespots and not to far from Curtin University(max 30min with bus).
How about Cottesloe or Scarborou????

well scabs will take prob 30-40 min to drive to curtin and prob similar for cott.
as for bussing it from either, u will hav to catch a series of busses and trains prob.
other option is to live between como and fremantle then u are close to curtin, close to the river if u need a quick fix and not too far to drive to the beach.

Inner city/West Perth is quite practical. You can catch the bus to Curtin (20 mins), or you can catch the bus to any beach or location around the river. If you have a bike (I've seen some guy's doing this), you can back pack your gear and ride to Nedlands/Crawley which is one of our main spots (Pelican Point) in less than 10 minutes.
