I took a Switchblade (12m), on loan from SHQ, for a test ride this evening and was blown away - but not literally on this occasion!

I also have a Turbo Diesel demo from RPS to try tomorrow evening, so I'll post again after that. Either way, I will own a bow by the weekend - it was that good.

I have to admit, this was the first time I have felt completely in control the whole time I was out (it was blowing about 15-20k at St Kilda). The depower is awesome, allowing me to hold my edge the whole time, without ever getting overpowered in gusts and losing my edge. This meant I was able to stay upwind with ease and didn't have to do the walk of shame once (I don't count one 50m walk as shameful ). It also meant I didn't fall off my board once! - which is a marked difference to any other day I have been out.

The kite makes me think I can actually kite OK. I was jumping, and Landing them every time. Didn't miss a single heelside carve turn, and could stay upwind (did I mention that already? well it's worth saying again. I'll leave the technical comparisons to someone else, but I'm totally stoked.

Cheers

PS: I've now got 2 Nitro kites (10m and 14m) up for sale - refer to east coast sales forum if your interested.
