Bambi in the headlights finds it totally inappropiate to kite in the area mentioned. It is a family friendly area supposedly safe on the sand at least.A beginner kiter needs at least a 50 metres downwind human and obstacle free zone.Imagine wiping out a bunch of toddlers making sandcastles oblvious to potential serious injury, then what.Blue beanies' reply even though they may be nice people was more about themselves and being in control in a crowded area of vulnerable people ,yeh sure .Instead of not wanting to jeapodize future kiting at Manly for yourselves just try another kite friendly beach.
