While setting up the SUP bus on the beach today at 6.45am a guy was seen climing on top of a rubish bin, lifted off our flag pole and undid the Naish flag rolled it up and ran away.
At the time we had 15 people doing a sup fitness class who all saw the guy.
A couple of the class people were local kiters and reconised him as someone that kites often at St Kilda, thanks mate, you tosser
fair effort.. sound like a dead ****. thats all we need low lifes like that in our sport..stealing ****... If i saw that **** and he rocked up on my beach id be taking his kiting gear as compensation... bet he wouldn't think it was to funny then
fair point Stamp......... but if someone walked up to your bag and stole $40 out of your wallet ( probably the cost of the flag ) you would be pretty pissed
No it`s not only a flag! It BELONGS to someone else and not his for the taking! Good effort, a ballsy efort? Just because he might have had a huge night out makes it okay does it? People like that and people that condone that behavior are low life idiots. SUPB obviously put that flag up for a reason. It is not okay to steal someone elses stuff (even if it is a naish flag ). Probably the same guy that will break into a car and people will say that it`s not really his fault, it`s because of his up bringing and he is not so privilaged. IT IS STILL WRONG!
It's wrong. But for some reason, stealing a big company's advertising material just doesn't feel as wrong as stealing an individual's possessions. Or maybe I'm just trying to justify the many stolen beer mats and beer signs from my mis-spent youth
I just want to make it clear that it was not me i know i fit the discription and have been known to do weird stuff put I promiss it was not me this time. Coz if it was me i would have been more creative and turned it into a skirt and got 2 half coconuts for a bikkini and taken a sup out aswell and made the whole exercise group chace me round st kilda while singing i'm to sexy for my shirt, to sexy for my shirt...... either way its still a $%#s act and they should give it back.

Aggreed, lol to be honest you are lucky it has been up for more than a day. st kilda is known for its 'nightlife' karma..someone will steal his kite or he will step on a needle whatever comes first
lighten up mate after all your a stand up paddle boarder! flags are fair game. but wind-sox are always better. You'd be surprised how big they are once you've wrestled one to the ground.
