going to Narooma for Easter. If anyone wants someone to ride with and I always seem to kite alone in that area P.M me and I'll mail my mob #.

One of the biggest problems with this area, you have to get used to having the whole beach to yourself.......that, and the freezing water, huge sharks and terrible weather.

Are there any Narooma kiters?

I heard one crazy bugger decided to kite from Narooma to Montague Island a couple of weeks back.....

Maybe we can organise a downwinder....if there's any wind....Dal to Tuross?

Hi KDA i usually ride at Kianga in Southerlies or Handkerchief in NE when I am in Narooma. There are so many good spots to go.

hi, where is narooma? I'd be up for a day/two day trip with one or two friends. I'm in North Sydney so need to work out drive and timing.

looks like its 4-5 hours drive from Sydney. South of Batemans bay.

Narooma and surrounding area is awesome!

Many a holiday spent down there with the big game fish...

You know you are out of Sydney when you kite with sailfish, suddenly you are not alone, maybe the only kiter though...

WTF !!
You have obviously never BEEN with a girl before !

Also,the winds at Easter are likely to be Westerlies.
So anyone planning a trip should take that in to account.

Hey Gents, thanks for the comments, compliments and user thanks for your support.....I've been on this forum and worked/kited in male dominated environments for years so it's all part of the course....I take note of what I want and let the rest wash past me like the tide :-)

Trust me when I say nothing said on this forum will ever bother me as I've served time in the military and nothing compares to that!!

If the wind isn't there at Easter then the surfboard will come out or it'll be beer o'clock!

Thanks ,but it was not so much defence of Caelah,as a huge cringe at the way some react as soon as a female posts on the Forum.The poor sods start declaring undying love over an avatar fer krists sake !

One fool even called Caelah "Spunky trunks"

Anyway,to get back on topic,Narooma is a long way South.Plus you would need back up Westerly spots at that time of year.

I was only looking for someone to kite with at Easter. There are westerly spots but not for the surf. south west is a different story though. Bring it on.

Hey Strapped I'm up for kiting anywhere over Easter, Narooma being just one option in my pack of cards on the table at the moment

So whatever the conditions/wind direction there will be somewhere to go. As much as I'd love to go to Narooma that 5 hour drive is a long way for no less than 2 nights.

Got ideas and up for a road trip then I'm in north or south!
