I'm curious (and unaware) of how the advertising scene works on the internet in the forums.
Can anyone tune me in ?

For instance on Kiteforum,
the threads seem to contain fewer posts per page compared to Seabreeze.
Kiteforum = average 10 posts per page
Seabreeze = average 30 posts per page

Does this make for more ad viewing opportunities for the Kiteforum users,
as they scroll thru the numerous multi-paged threads ?

Do more ad views translate into more revenue ?

Regards,
slave.

the ads sit at the top of the page therefore the length of the topic is irrelevant. Case maybe said for a floating javascript ad that is always visible....yep...no wind

not quite...

If there's 25 posts in a thread - on those figures:
Seabreeze - 1 page - 1 ad
Kiteforum - 3 pages - 3 ads
