Just got the new KBM and on the Kiteforum someone had posted something about Balls not wearing a suicide leash on the cover. (not that that really worries me, if theres someone around to collect your loose kite then sweet) But i noticed on page 73 the pick of Balls (obviously taken same day as cover shot & he has a safety) So i then looked at the cover again and you can see that Balls's suicide leash has been erased from the photo?
The leash certainly doesn't make the photo look any better or worse to kiters, so why erase it? Is taking the leash out a thing to gain general public respect, like a "we dont wear training wheels kinda thing"?
the new mag is by far the best to date. the cover rocks and who cares if the leash is erased or not coz it is a sick shot. the best photo is that crazy wave Martin Vari is riding at shipsterns(mad). and the dvd that comes with the subscription sure does get u amped even if it has only got 6 minutes of kiting it makes u just want to go build a kicker.
