Has anyone had any problems with their valves on there bladders coming off ?
I have 4 kites 2 different brands, and over the last 12 months have had to reglue every single valve back on,thats around 35 valves, you would think if we could send a man to the moon and do all the amazing enginneering things that are being done, that it would be a simple thing to stick a plastic valve on to a plastic bladder.
I met a plastics enginneer in my travels and showed him the valves and the bladders,he said that the valves and the bladder were 2 dissimilar plastics and that they were never really designed to go together in the first place, and that they were heated together, not glued.

He examined the valves and said that when they were heated together that not enought heat was applied or that the heat was not held long enought
Somebody told me that Cabrinba kites valves are moulded into the bladder and not glued or heated together, but I can not find anything on the internet that confirms this, thats sounds like a much better way to build a bladder

All the valves started coming off just out of warranty,I hate how most people get new kites after each season, its alright if you can sell your old kites but if you can not then it becomes very expensive to replace 3 kites every year
