Props to Sean Phillips for taking the fight to Randwick council regarding the kitesurfing ban at Maroubra beach.

Sean got half page spread in the local paper (Tacoon should be happy with the pic) and held meetings with our council reps - fighting to preserve our right to kite at Maroubra.

Hats off to you mate - Without people who are motivated enough to fight for these issues, we will lose our spots.

Hopefully I didn't do too much damage to our reputation with the beachies by breaking the 3 kiter rule the other day... Could help it since they told me it would be the last day any of us kited there - ever!
