I lost my surfboard today, Someone may try to find me on seabreeze but how can they find me when the only Lost and found section is in Kitesurfing?

There is no lost and found in General and/or Surfing. Perhaps move lost and found out of k-surfing and under forums.

if you kite on a normal surfboard (not a kite specific one), you probably wouldn't use a leash cause it's safer...

Wind changed to offshore and blew from 20 knots to about 40knots in a matter of a minute. I was close to shore so i had a choice: get in and stand up and be safe, or try to retrieve a board upwind of me overpowered in offshore wind.

May sound strange (offshore/upwind)The geography of the point at which i was kite surfing made this possible, not a regular beach break.

Its difficult to explain. but once you swim out you can get in deep water/issues. See point danger in torquay. Plus at 40knots my board was moving faster than i could swim.
