Hey,
Just found this in the Wanneroo Times Feebruary 13-19, page 4 regarding a sea lion playing in the surf at mullaloo.

"Miss Langlands said the animal was happy sharing the water with other swimmers as long as they did not get tooo close. 'After some time of enjoying the waves, he came up onto the sand to relax, soak up the sunshine and rest,' she said. 'But the sound of kite surfers disrupted him' "
and thats the end of the article? Is this lady delusional or hearing things?

the local cables sea lion will race ya, he doesnt seem to mind us much although i have mistaken him for a shark twice now as he popped up in front of me, once had him go 50m or so alongside me on one light wind sun set cruise.
