last time I was in Noosa i stayed at the Noosa Backpackers Resort - they have private rooms as well as communal, reasonably priced, nice restaraunt... hot backpacker chicks

its about a 5-10 minute drive from the river mouth though, so you'd want a car. a quick google search should find a few places closer to river mouth...
