Looking at long range maps it looks like a good chance NE winds for most of NSW coast MON tues wed next week

i got next week off and am praying for wind round the foster to byron area.

are you just getting my hopes up for nothing ,wise floatie one

No not trying to get ur hopes up .I reckon the further north you go (The area yull be in the better the chance of a good one) .
I'm sticking my neck out but my amatuer forcasting got a thumbs up last weekend when i bumped into someone that I warned about the 8th june storm and they tahnksed me .

Still some way out but stay tuned

Somewhere on the North coast I had 2 NE kites last week, 1 this week plus 1 Southerly Most on 15 m and will have another NE kite tomorrow with Sat looking good as well, somewhere on the the North coast.

For anyone who wants to know what the predominant winds are in an area for a given time go to the BOM website .For each state there is a bit for climate averages .This is the NSW one www.bom.gov.au/climate/averages/tables/ca_nsw_names.shtml

Most of the winds that we actually ride here in summer (particularly nobbys )are actually easterlies .

Damm, I forgot that my profile was public, so much for keeping a secret. And yes for there has been wind for a few hours on the days I mentioned. You have to be there at the right time though.

is that at wind oclock,which is usually just befor beer oclock????

I gave up beer oclock a while ago. So I don't know what time it is. I'm so lost, but I still got wind.

I kited today at spot X, 15m fuel 1 foot slop and 10 whole knots of wind. Just glad the weather was good cause the wind wasn't.
