desperate for a kite and looking at forecasts thought
1. the beach at Kilcare (the Box) or
2. the coastline nth of N'castle thru to Hawks Nest looked suitable...
any remarks, suggestions, warnings.
The inside of Hawks Nest opposite Pt Stephens looked like a good spot (from Googles 5000 ft.

The Box (Umina not killcare) is good in SSW to SSE. SE it gets a little gusty but still rideable. Tide is best at low going high but don't crash your kite in the channel as your kite will overtake you. And don't ride through the flags as alot of Sydney riders do. I've always thought killi would be good in an NE but never tested it. Pointless this time of year tho.
