This was for any winchers out there (as there isn’t a wakeboard forum) I thought it may have been worth a post.

yeah.
nah, the videos look sick, it's always good to see extreme boarding videos, but in my opinion too much effort. I've done it with a guy who owns a winch last winter, but the hassle of setting up and packing up, and stretching the winch up the beach each time, outweighs the fun you get out of it... it was fun riding it, but can't compare to kiting... it was 3 hours of setup, packing, washing the winch etc, and a total of 3 goes covering 150 m distance. It's good if you have heaps of time and no wind.
