If it ever became a practical reality, (I'm sceptical), would a one-kite quiver be a desirable goal?
I doubt if the industry would be wishing for this fanciful outcome. It would be akin to shooting themselves in the foot.
Many kiters would relish the affordability of a single kite quiver. Others would yawn at the prospect of over-simplicity and lack of variation. Remember, kites-r-toys, for some crew there's a built-in novelity-meter that's calibrated into them.
I personally think the one-kite quiver is unachievable for the discerning kiter. That elusive narrowband called the sweet-spot is the kite candy. It exists somewhere between 15-30 knots for every given kite relative to the rider.
if it was achievable, yacht sails would have no reefing points, windsurfers would only have one sail and birds of all sizes and shapes would fly at breakneck speeds. has air resistance got something to do with it?
hahahaha birds do fly at break neck speeds one flew into my window goin so fast he broke his neck, dunno about the reefing of sails and the windsurfer tho but the bird one is definately possible

The alsone tend to fly at Engine Brakeing Speeds, particularly with thoes Turbo Fan engines ;) (The big ones that rumble your guys at dolls pt)
