Just play with your reel leash and dream about West Oz kiting cause you'll never leave the motherland man.

If you were a serious player, you'd be here rippin' now instead of worrying yourself out of booking the TICKET.

BLOWN AWAY,

I am the proprieter of Ample Bosom kiting ltd, made famous by the new brand of breast kite hybrids that are taking the kiting world by storm.
I am currently looking for a manager of my resort/marina in Kalgoorlie (a small village not far from Perth). the resort is brand new and is the subject of much discussion/praise world wide.
Would you care to manage the facility for me.
i would take care of a job, income and accommadation for you??

Rello,

Is that the one going up on the waterfront just near the cafe precinct? Excellent work my friend, you've done well. Marvellous location, beautiful afternoon seabreezes, sophisticated locals. Blown Away please hold a room for me, I'll pm you my credit card details.

Hey man if you are going to Australia, just try to chill out before you go.
The bitterness you harbor for your fellow Aucklanders need not rule or ruin your life.
Let it go. Its up to you.

Log off and just sit at the beach and be happy until you go.
If you can't do that then just go get a ticket now and go there tomorrow.
You just sound bitter and lonely at the moment.
The Aussies probably are not to interested in that mind set.
You do want to make friends don't you?

Don't worry you won't even know i've arrived. Besides it's the in thing to diss Aucklanders on this side of the ditch... just like it is to diss kiwis on that side of the ditch. you guys should be happy that i'm slammin NZ. I'll miss my fellow east Auckland kiters... i do get on with them... but they are gonna head offshore too (some to OZ) so i gain nothing by staying here and everything by moving to OZ.

Hey Fences last time i heard the much loved pasttime of lazy Kiwis heading over to OZ for the lifestyle and bludgin on the dole has been outlawed now. i will be gettin a job over there.

Mark Tucker, Blown away, Thrasher, Osama bin kiting etc, etc:

Take that advice to chill & log off mate... You have pissed off alot of people in N.Z & you're already doing it to these guys prior to your arrival.

My advice is to go kiting once in a while & stay away from all forums.

Hey all you Straaains!!!

I agree with the kiteforum.co.nz moderator - the best way to deal with his monologues is short answers or ignoring them.... He's like a child having a tantrum - craving your attention to prove he's important.

The best thing that could happen is the guys in W.A. will knock some sense into him.

Well done dope. You sounded so much like a kiwi that i had to check the profile to make sure it wasn't one of my fellow NZ kiters signing up as some new username (Falcon is none other than Lee from Anabatic Kiteshop and straighttalk is none other than Brad.. another northshoreite and one i don't exactly get on with).

I am pleased to announce that i will not be heading to OZ now but infact i have stopped kitesurfing and are gonna get back into windsurfing. i'm going back to my hometown Wellington so i guess you guys won't have to deal with me anymore.

Chill out, I just moved here from NZ and I have no idea who you are - you reputation does not proceed you, just the paranoia. Waiho ma te tangata e mihi: let someone else sing your praises! And I know a few of the people you are talking about and they seem like pretty alright blokes to me, I think you are a teensy bit paranoid, and perhaps a little excitable. RELAX!!!

Hello Blown Away,
You sound a little lost.
Wellington won't be the same as when you left.
Things change, friends leave.
Windsurfing is a dinosaur sport, go fly a kite man.
Buy a plane ticket and see what happens? It's only money.
What the heck, you might even have some fun.

Ah but the decision has allready been made and $$$$ have a big voice.

Stinkygoat where abouts in NZ did you come from? You are right... you don't know who i am.. only one person over your way knows who i am. You are right Lee is a good guy. As for Brad i've never met him but know who he is. He seems to know who i am despite never seeing me before. Oh by the way I'm in my calm mode. As my friends up in north shore have told you I'm split personality, totally insane, i never kite, spend all my time on the computer and are in general a right asshole. so you should be happy that i'm not coming over. celebrate

More misconceptions about OZ... and i'm about to put em to death.

My parents have just come back from Melbourne and they say that it was one awesome city.. and there was wind too they said. They didn't see any kiters though.

They said the people over there were extremely friendly. The roads were great and so was the weather. They said Melbourne was more friendly than Sydney... and they said that Sydney was more friendly than Auckland. Infact they said that they will be moving to OZ eventually one of these days.. they love it over there... well done guys!!

Go Australia!! As you've gathered... some things in NZ really piss me off. Things however have thawed somewhat between me and the Orewa kiters... no shots have been fired. Melbourne and Perth are tied for 1st equal for worlds best city.

NZ's famed spring conditons have been ****en Awful this time round.... one day in the last week with winds over 15 knots out here in East Auckland.... the rest 10 - 15 knots. Auckland summers are usually TERRIBLE and i'm fully expecting a full kiting ban this time round cos i know someone is gonna **** up and piss someone off at Eastern Beach.

I think NZ's reputation of having friendly people is well and truly dead and buried.... My parents loved the Aussies and their hospitality is second to none... that's why you guys did such a good Olympics and Rugby world cup... the commonwealth games will also be a resounding success of course.

I know i was planning on making my appearence this month. Well maybe i should have tried doin it at the Gravity games... i'd be the guy makin an ass of himself. But nah i am still in NZ and it seems i am gonna be here for a while. But i will be eventually coming to WA. A couple of guys i know are over there. A scottish guy called Grant and a South Africian guy called Lance (you guys allready know him). My mate Tim is coming over there in January... he hates Auckland with a passion so should like WA. I have no money (drug addiction) so i ain't coming.

Damn i love Black Sabbath!!![}:)]

I can play "spot the kiwis" too... the guys who have taken a disliking to this thread are probably all from NZ or are ex NZers living in OZ. how do i know that? i haven't slammed OZ once... that's why. I don't know of an Aussie that would stick up for NZ.

Am i a greaser? Not really.. i'm stating the obvious fact... parents just came home from Melbourne.. they loved the place. And besides what have i to gain? Nothing... so not really worth greasing.

As for ex NZers getting all defensive about their "motherland"... then why are you no longer living in NZ??... there must be a reason .

Thank god the true blue Aussies on here can understand what i'm on about.... the bigger the country the less defensive the person.

Happy Halloween

I'm diggin up the demon thread again but this time it's becasue i can't be bothered posting a new one.

iti: You are right about Wellington. It's a great place to kite. i like it much better than auckland for out and out kiting. It's a pity that there are less than 10 other kiters in that city of 300 000.

laurie: Get well soon dude. I kite in and around squalls all the time and know the next gust may be my last... here's to a speedy recovery bro! everyone be careful out there and make sure your beast is on a leash and the safety works all good.

Now the reason why i'm posting here... this is my last one. The next time you will hear from me is at woodies pt. But don't get too excited yet... it's a while off but if all goes well i'm genuinely planning a trip to WA in Jan of 2008. I'm only visiting... i ain't moving there so no need to alarm Howard.

c ya at woodies pt in 21 months and it's been great chatting to you guys.
