But that may be about to change
Check this out
http://www.snowpark.com.au/
Now wouldn't that just complete the picture.
The perfect place on earth - even perfecter

Wonder if we could persuade them to run a cable park round the outside
How about - everyone do the survey (more the better) & suggest that in the comments box
Cant hurt; might work

Good Idea
Reckon we should start a 'bumper sticker campaign'.
If we can save a whole reef surely we can get a bit of snow on the ground - too easy.
How about:
"Im Dreamin of a White Xmas"

Plastered on 500k WA cars.
Yeah - & The Vandals could provide a great soundtrack for the CD

HMMM.... think of the new tricks... cable and snow park in one!

PS. don't eat the yellow snow-cones... even if your mates say they're good.

I used to go the one at Milton Keynes, outside London. They're fun but a single run lasts all of a blink of an eye. good for working on tricks, not really for free riding. and it wasnt cheap either. should be fun on windless days for you lot if they get it off the ground

I know ours is gonna be way better but...
Does anyone know what the SA park is like
Be nice to get a 'rundown' on that one.
And how much for how long - would be good to know that too.

Biggest one was in tokyo, tho was demolished in 2004 as a non-earner.
looks big, expensive and a huge resource drain........bring it on.

Adelaide had one.
I had one session. each run was over in about 5secs.

Icy, wet, cold.
an escalator inclined walkway got you back. and you started straight into a blind corner.

Unco giggling girls ahead, blind corner, ice. just add pain.

if someone has the $$ for this, a much better investment would be to spend those $$ on an indoor kiting lake/arena/pool.

Perth & wind = yes.
Perth & snow = WTF??

This is just sick... I would be so board after a couple off runs!!! I get board in the local skiing resort here which has 300 m height drop, but it has atleast NATURAL SNOW (Witch is way better then that home made crap).
However would be fun to rip off in the snow park in dubai :)

Cheers
Kris

Seems more viable than bringing the GG Games here. All they need is to add some blowers in the dome and we can even snowkite in WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

It looks mad and i havn't been snobordin in a while... my only concern would be how Perth would handle keeping it cool in there when we can't even power our air conditioners.. or did they fix that problem?

As long as its longer then 5secs per run

What about firing the old cableski back up? Wouldn't that be a bit cheaper and more fun?
