Just wondering if anyones gone out kiting in Perth on a North westerly ? I know SSW is good, but wondering if there's somewhere to go on a NNW or thereabouts.......Not getting enough action !

NW or NNW? Try pretty much any piece of beach break?

Leighton in a NW with a good swell running is awesome fun.

Plenty of river launches work also.

yeah. Let's talk about Perth wind direction...and unintended consequences...you drive 90k's to get to the Peel inlet on saturday, cop a $100 speeding fine on the way, only to get there to no breeze...talk about ripped off!

I drove 200kms, Got a $200 ticket, and had my worst ever kitemare... all in one day last season.

Thank God for the 30 minutes of good wind I did get though.

Bloody Mr Plod got me again for another $200 a month later though.

So I moved closer to the coast.

It's all about location, location, location... and being at the right one.
