Any pics or videos you have seen where the kiter is higher then the kite would be great. Need some material to dish out at the poleys.

This is a frame grab from the Addikt Movie by f-one. Filmed from a jetski so there is no distortion in height. The kite is also on its way up from the loop.

How about any pics where someone has jumped someone elses kite while it's been at 11 or 1?

once you can get going, turn around and jump you have done 75% of all there is to do.

I know I am biting at this stupid post, but honestly mark, you cant be serious!!!

As an example, here is a video of snow kiting, which has all the moves kite surfing has, but in an entirely different element, something that is incomprehendable windsurfing. I see at least 30 different moves in this video, not variations of the same move like your talking about.

Sorry mate but all your aerial moves are hanging under the kite bar. The kite stays where it is and you twiddle your legs around to make the board change attitude a bit.
No loops where you are higher than the kite

All your (kiters I mean) wave rides are simple bottom - top turn combos. No looping aerials like a goiter or air taka (look those up sometime).

Isn't this Bertrand Fleury? I know you weren't referring to him in your post, but just trying to remember who is in this picture.

Short lines and large balls are all the only requirements for the above..........and a knee blowout is just the next jump away

Why even bother arguing? There are only bad outcomes from here. Either you loose the point and look like another sad teabagger, or you convince them that kiteboarding is obviously much better than windsurfing and end up converting a whole bunch of poleys. I reckon it is better just to let them think that their goizers or air tickas are much cooler and keep the waters a bit less crowded for those of us who have a real appreciation of wind sports.

Theres a really good one in this issue of Kiteworld....
Theres also a slider made out of old logs which i thought was pretty cool... See if the poleys can do that!

Why are you wasting your time trying to talk-up kiting to the poleys ?
They fken hate kites.
A pic of a killer kite-loop doesn't impress them.
Those paranoid freaks only see one thing in pics like these.....
those goddamn strings.
lol.
Maybe show them a pic of kitesurfing in the barrel.
They might like that cause they won't see the kiter....
he'll be slotted in the pit hidden behind the curtain......

nope, not even close. Just dont like f-wits... kitesurfing happens to be attracting some of them. In reality, quite a high percentage of windsurfers have tried kitesurfing.

a kiteloop without leaving the water is unimpressive - a 6 year old can do the same thing on the kite their dad made them on the weekend... Kiteloops arn't technically hard, they just arn't impressive.

That said, 50 foot boosts are cool - if you stick in a kite loop - then you've got shtick.

nope - we see the guys crashing face first, which is fine. then being dragged a few hundred meters up the beach into some rock structure or some beach goers -> which is not fine.

whatever - style is good in any sport.
