I take back all the bad things I said about Pivot! Checked the bar lines and found close to 30 cm difference between the front and back lines !!! Checked all myother bars, and 3 out of 5 were badly out of tune. I recon tune your bar every 5 sessions or so.

Pivot is a nice, quick turning for its size, and floaty for boosting kite - love it now and removed it from buy and sell section. I like it so much that I wonder why it did not sell since last April

Anyway, if you stop liking any of your kites you used to like, check the length of lines (all need to be the same length with depower set to full power of course).

happy kiting!

30 cm it was
The length of some lines changes A LOT
Bought new Ozone lines and the centre lines were about 15 cm shorter to start with. It was not possible to make them equal with the available adjustment on the bar (knots under rubber sleeves) and had to add 10 cm long universal pigtails to extend them.

About 5 sessions later I could remove the pigtails as the centre stretched about 10 cm (or end lines become shorter as some claim, but I don't buy this theory). They were the original Ozone replacement lines bought from a kite shop, not some ebay order sent from China.

My two wainman bar lines were equal even though I used them quite a bit. Cabrinha lines were out by about 8 cm and I adjusted them at the end of last season - the length changed this much after about 15 sessions.

This may have something to do with my obsession to learn boosting since the start of the season this year
And Yes - it is starting to happen after I bought the on-line video on how to jump basics from Advakite - best spent $25!
