So there are about 4 threads about how everyone is f'ing up at certain busy beaches and how everything will get banned and what not...

Well I was at Point Walter from 5.30 till 12.00 this morning and I had an absolute blast!

At 5.30 I shared it with about 3 other kiters but at about 9.30 there were I'd say about 50 or 60 if not more. However everyone was in a great mood and everything seemed absolutely fine. I did not notice any big drama's. There was also heaps of beach-goers walking on the spit enjoying watching all the kiters and taking photo's.

I did not see any major F-ups. Everything ran very smoothly despite the large number of kiters.

I would rate Point Walter as being one of the best, if not the best spot in Metro Perth. It is beautiful, it is flat water, you can kite both sides of the spit which allows you to choose between regular and goofy, just fantastic!

I just wanted to put some positivity out there with all the negative statements on Seabreeze at the moment. My advise to everyone would be, ENJOY YOURSELF! Don't get yourself too worked up about other kiters unless you are actually doing something about it... It might be busy on the waters in the metro area, but if it really annoys you so much you might just need to go elsewhere...

If you think Point Walter is the best spot in perth then this must be your very first season.

nah deff isn't.. 2nd season. I prefer Safety Bay over Point Walter I suppose but I like Point Walter because it's just a real nice park and you get 2 options for goofy and regular and the water is butter flat.

It does get a little gusty I suppose. But all and all I highly rate it.

Just personal opinion..
