u can go at dunbogan..just south of port a little in the river but at high tide... or travel about a hour south to Forster/Tuncurry. to Wallis lake..at the sailing club...great on westerlies..clear shallow lake(Mostly waist high)...Its headed towards pacific palms.. Worth the drive... i be there pending the weather..

Cranking wind up in Port today and some over head pits in the waves not far from town, was it to the North or South......can't say just now!

There is a crew forming to hit either Pipers Bay, Tuncurry Entrance (run in Tide), Sailing Club or an island we are keen to try due SW of Forster keys on Saturday Arvo. All these spots are down in the Forster / Tuncurry Area.
For Port you can try Town beach if it is NW bit the forecast is WSW and Googlies Lagoon may be worth a look but gusty. Call into the Port Shop on the Corner of Short and Williams street from 9am and chat with Tony, he can put you in the picture.

Or you can call me on 0437775483 to find out what the ride spots are over the weekend.

Hey Scotty give us a call in the morn to cathc up.

Cheers

Glen

Hey boys! Would just like to say a big thanks to Glen from Xshore for showing me the local Tuncurry sites. Had a filth time in a sweet spot chanelling the westerlies with a nice glassy little section. There were some pretty solid gusts and at times was fully depowered and still getting lifted. Thought I would launch outa the lake and into the ocean in one of the gusts. Although gusty still way more consistant then the QLD westerlies. Thanks again mate, you find your board?

Great to have you along for an epic lake session, and the first time for kiting that island spot.
We found the board just on sunset. After giving it up on it, we spotted it floating in whilst walking back. That has got to be the longest body drag in winter water I've ever done.

Catch you again down the track.

Cheers

Glen
