Just wanted to say that since I began kiting a couple of seasons ago I have met some really great people. A whole new set of friends to share the thrills with until my other surfer friends catch on.
But none more cool than Marv at "In the Loop."
I was looking for a new directional as my surfboards were copping a regular beating, and I wanted one with inserts that I can mess with later on down the line. Found what I was looking for in the Seabreeze section and emailed him. Told him that I worked a deal with my kids and wife that this board would be my Christmas prez from all of them. I told him I would put down a deposit to hold it until I was cashed up in a few weeks time.
He more or less told me to enjoy the gift now as he was sending it based on trust and good faith. I could pay it whenever was able. I was amazed by this wonderful gesture. Board arrived yesterday and I was out test driving within hours. Thrilled to say the least!
I have always believed in a handshake deal and to honor commitments, but in this day and age of frivolous lawsuits and contracts it is a rare commodity. Big kudos to ya Marv, the board is sensational.
Gave my buddy a try on it and now he is looking for a Christmas present from his girlfriend. Hope he hooks up and I can return the good will.
I know its fun for people to bash other people on forums, but I would rather find the good in each of us and spread that vibe instead.
Enjoy the holidays as they come around!

My two are darren at aks (he just knows a lotta stuff man) and Jason from westoz, will always work with these guys from now on. Darren understands ( and jason) their kites and boards and use then. They also understand size and can really help you find the kite that suites your ability and style. Just shooting the sh1t is enough to know.

aks are also good at taking your good second hand gear and getting you into the new stuff and then moving the older stuff onto those that can't afford the new stuff or are new to the sport and will crash and bash then anyhow.

Always used to by online etc but never again, the service is worth the extra cost. Every dollar.
