Im heading to port douglas this weekend for a week and only have enough room for 1 kite, should I take a 9m or a 12m? Also is the Cairns wind readings on this site simular to Pt's?

Ports forecast is that of Cairns. The BOM is forecasting 10 to 15 knots Sat increasing to 20 to 25 knots Sunday. I would recommend the 12m as we have yet to really get any wind above 20 knots at Yorkies this year (can't say for Port) despite 25+ knots out on the reef.

It has been a very ordinary year for Cairns to say the least. I hope you it blows for you (us)

Cheers

Take the 12
The southern end of four mile beach is where you will find most of the kiting being done
