Been trying to work out where to go this winter. Have now thrown Tannum Sands into the mix rather than looking overseas. Just wondering if any of you can give me some local info as to whether August is any good for wind around Tannum or alternatively maybe another location you might think is better up your way. (Should mention it will be wife and relative new born coming for the journey, so tent on a beach might not cut it ) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Fozzy

Hey Fozzy, I couldn't go to the comp last year but I hear the wind is meant to be great up there at the time of the comp. Let me just check with a few people at the beach tomorrow and I'll get back to you. We've only seen one good NE'r this summer, it's been mainly southerly and SE'rs so not sure what it's been in the past.

Will be in touch!
