Mr Float. I have been told you are the man to ask about PL kites.
On the V2 16 I have there is an adjuster strap by the looks of it on the inside of the centre deflate zip. What does this do?
There is no info on the vid that comes with the kite.

ahh grasshopper a good question indeed !.you will also notice adjuster straps at the inflate zips as well on the V 2 !(If not you have been dudded into thinking that you have a V 2 when in fact it is a Venom 1 .I am quite sure tho that venom 2 is written a few times on the kite and the bag) .Do not be concerned .As it is written , for more power and faster turns tighten ,loosen for the opposite effect.For fatties like me who like the fastest turns and most power possible i ride with them tight always (even when gusting to 30 kts on the v 19,I find that the depower is still excellent).Perhaps while you are familiarising and it is very windy go halfway but if not too windy crank that puppy up!

Hey Juddy! How does the v1 perform for you and your weight, knots wise? I find 10 - 15 knots I need a surfboard to get going well on my 16.

The main difference in the two kites is that the changes to the trailing edge and the shoulder adjustment straps can give a faster turning kite when cranked up.There is also more power and depower .The V 1 is still agreat kite in comparison .
