March is freak storm & sudden squall season in Perth/SW (usually from NE or NW). Depending on your 'jackass' level this could be good or bad. They're rare but you definitely need to be aware of them in the northerly winds.
Apart from that, thems that know say the season has been slow. I'd say from the graphs that you'll have plenty of wind at night - just mount a few spotties to yer kite and bobs yer proverbial...
