Thinking of moving to Perth, heard it's windy, what sort of quiver would I need??

I have 9m and 12m Rebels and surfboards. Would these cover me in the most common conditions? Would it be worth bringing a TT (is there a lot of flat water kiteing or are there beaches with fairly consistent waves)??

Also would I need a wettie?? Even in the winter?

Any tips appreciated!

Might need a 7 also for winter! Bring the TT also if you're planning on riding any time it blows.

Kite sizes are fine (it's exactly what i've got!) bring ur TT though, plenty of flat water around here mate! in fact probably more flat/choppy water than wave spots. Of course there are some wave spots but for the best wave spots you'd have to go down south or up north.

Don't need a wetsuit in summer but in winter you absolutely need one. The water gets cold and temp drops significantly. Even though it might still not be anywhere close to a european winter it can still go down to 2 degrees at night and 10 through the day so you can imagine how cold the water gets and how cold it an be when you get out of the water and the wind is blasting around you.

Cool, thanks for the replies, will bring the TT as well and maybe look for a smaller kite closer to the winter.

Will I need a wettie for the winter also?? A 3.2 or something?

Is anyone wearing a wettie at this time of year?

I do wear a short wetsuit or a rashie. I wear the wetsuit just because I like it but not because I need it... I would recommend wearing at least a rashie though because the sun will roast you alive if you don't.

Might need a 6m for days like today. No wetties in summer. Wetsuit top and shorts are good for winter.

Plenty of days over 23 knots, 6/7m plus surfboard. You will be loving life.
