Caution be cautious (excuse the pun) if kiting on the offshore side of the Natural Bridge (near Kingstown Barracks) in a SW'er. The water is nice and smooth like woodies but I dropped my kite there with no one else around and was quickly heading for the jagged rocks of Phillip Rock with my lines in a mess. It took me about 45 minutes to swim 300-400 metres back to shore due to not only the offshore wind but also the offshore current!!!
The Natural Bridge is good for launching on Easterlies and kiting out into Thompsons. Would love to do that with some swell at Transit
