Has anyone used these harness's, i've had to take back 2 due to manufacturing defects (really poor stitching). The third one is starting to tear again after about 5 uses, but Im not taking it back again because I feel too bad-I know the store owner and dont want to offend them.

Questions:

Who makes the best seated harness's?

Does anyone own an industrial sewing machine for these type of repairs?

Are seated harneses for noobs? I originally got one due to a bad back from bjj.

forget offending the store owner , your gear is faulty and he sells RRD . He's the only person selling RRD in perth so take it back and ask for your money back or for him to fix the product .

Change brands bruz, mystic make a good harness. There's plenty of brands out there, most are preety solid and you can get two seasons easily out of them if you look after them.
Seat harness- yeah ok I guess. If you like poot stance

There are a few good ones out there depends what feel you like. I had a Flying Objects - light feel - though it fell apart after one season. Now I use Dakine Storm - solid feel - still going after 1 1/2 seasons.

Seat harnesses are good if your getting on a bit as they look after the lower back - the pull is lower down at the hips rather than on the torso. They can feel awkward if you are riding backhand a lot as it doesn't swivel like a waist harness - if your a goofy footer or ride switch in WA I think its fine. I only wave ride so can't comment on how they feel for wake or freestyle

Stick with Dakine, been around about the longest and very strong construction, my experience with pat love and flying objects says blah! don't bother. I kite when the wind blows and don't miss many sessions, but I do fresh water wash every session my harness and bar and lines to try and maintain some longevity.

I Brought my Mystic Warrior in 2007 and it just keeps on trucking after close to 200 sessions
