Well it was only a matter of time.. While teaching today i noticed a guy going through my stuff on the beach. When yelled at he promptly ran back to his car where he sat for a bit. When confronted by another instructor on the beach he said he thought my shirt was a rag and he was cleaning his hands on it. Yeah right.. Anyway his number plate was taken down and nothing was missing. Only had a phone to grab left in the shirt in case of emergency when teaching.
Note to all Melville kiters: Be on the lookout for a dark blue vt commodore with a blonde guy. Oh and don't leave any valuables on the beach including keys. It's not safe anymore. Obviously with everyone on the lookout at woodies and other spots lately they may have decided to change their target location.
On a positive note melville was, as usual, a great circus to watch.
Im not sure if they're on every harness but on my prolimit harness i have a little pocket above the handle.
Buy a mini zip lock bag and stuff ur car key and immobiliser in it. Keep everything else in car. I can help you rig up a TASER or car Battery active security system for your car if you want...Robocop style.
yeh ive noticed ppl hanging hanging around down melville, always keeping an eye on my stuff, and while inverted was in checking his stuff his student crashed his kite str8 thu my lines lol
It's a bit harder for you guys to keep an eye on things as you are spread a fair way down the beach, I know the wind surfing crew pretty much bunch up so the ease of spotting some pr1ck pilfering your stuff is more likly to be observed.
Sorry to hear it.
Thanks for the heads up guys, yes I am a pole dancer :)
