it was a big boost -a very impressive jump- no doubt about that - but as far as ripping kite loops go- the kite was still pretty high in the window- it hardly qualifies as a real "power style" kite loop-

lets just say that i doubt Lenton was too worried as he went into that one.

the ones that really rip are the ones where the rider gets over the kite - usually on short lines. Often with serious consequences - sometimes with glory landings.

A great link though - thanks for posting it!

Ok do yourself a favour and watch the second video when he stacks one. He skips accross the water for about 30m, he says on his site it was his "most gnarly crash ever" and after watching the second clip I tend to agree. As for the ripping of the kiteloop 60m downwind not good enough for you? Maybe you would prefer it if he just ate sh!t and luffed the kite out like bertrands rib breaking loops... Credit where credit is due, that is a massive loop is insane wind.

If you didn't check the second link it's worth it

Oh yeah Glory landings?

I'de like to see this, but my technology can't do it....getting to the point where I'll only watch something on You Tube as their technology rocks.

Check out the footage taken from holland.
There's some interesting kiteloops , 35-40 knots 7m kite, be patient it will load. Interesting to see where he puts his kite to try and lose speed for the landing.
